"Let's Get Some Shoes..."

So I found this idea on Pinterest, obviously, but I forgot to pin it so I can't link it. I have these super run down Jessica Simpson black heels that have pretty much seen their last days

I decided they needed to be revamped for a final night out next weekend. My friend won a VIP party package but it's "Superhero night" in honor of Comic-Con being in town. Luckily for me being the impulse buyer/distracted by anything that lights up or sparkles, I bought a $10 PINK Superwoman cape when I was at six flags 2 summers ago only because it lights up, and have yet to have an excuse to wear it. I figure with a cute black dress, pink cape, and my now pink and black heels, it's the perfect outfit to fit in with all the crazies that will be downtown! :)

I feel like I've been waiting for this day since 2007....oh wait. Super Bowl retaliation time!!!!!!!! Also it definitely took me 4 hours to bake/decorate these cookies for our work party so obv I need to show them off (And they also put ME in charge of making the sign...hahah) :) LETS GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!

I still have to laugh every time I think about how mad I was the day my parents told us we were moving to California. The thought of leaving everything and everyone I knew behind was terrifying. Now, almost 6 years later, I'm the only one out still out here-and I swear I'll never leave (sorry Mom).

This weekend for my '4th Annual 21st birthday' weekend, we headed up to LA for Pride. We go to the one in SD every year in July, but it was our first time at the LA one. Nothing makes this straight girl happier than being surrounded by hot half naked boys (especially when I get to wear a crown cause it's my bday). Words cannot even describe how amazing it was...so here's a few pictures <3

Even though things are a little crazy right now, I hope this year can turn itself around and be as amazing as ever. I wish I could get you something extra special to thank you for EVERYTHING you've done over the years (and continue to still do)for our whole family. Alas the 23 year old who has never been able to save a dollar in her life is always broke {{Until one day when someone realizes I need to be famous ;) }}

"Ho, Ho, Ho, Under the Mistletoe."

In an attempt to catch up on all the blogs I need to before I forget, I figure I need to start with where I left off. So after the Halloween party was our 2nd annual "Ho, Ho, Hoes, Under The Mistletoe" party (lyrics from Lady Gaga's Christmas Tree song.

If you know me at all, you obviously know that Christmas is by far my FAVORITE holiday and I always go all out. This year was a little bit harder to decorate now that I have Jake (my cat, who especially likes to rip down the wrapping paper on the doors), but I did the best I could. We convinced our friend Evan to dress up as Santa this year (by telling him all the girls would want to sit on his lap), and I finally got my first REAL Chrtistmas Tree since I've been living on my own (which I still have up and refuse to take down till it dies completely). They ended up putting a Christmas Tree Patch in the alley behind our complex, so I had no excuse not to get one. The guy (who was super hot) even tossed it over the fence behind our apartment so we wouldn't have to walk far with it.

"California Gurls, We're Unforgettable.."

This Halloween I worked my butt off on my epic Halloween Costume (and kinda of wanted to cry when I had to throw it away after). Katy Perry in "California Gurls" In case you have been living under a rock you can find it here.. I chose to make my costume from the first outfit you see her wearing--purple wig with heart headband, white dress covered in candy and a rainbow tutu--candy necklace, bracelet, ring & shoes!

Unfortunately I was not anticipating a mirror falling on my head the weekend before, so I did the best I could to cover the left over black eyes I was left with >:[
